After Tran Dinh Trong’s case, Ha Noi FC is supposed to run the 2019 AFC Cup campaign without Oseni Bolaji due to his health issue from the 1-1 draw 2019 AFC Cup semi-finals match against Ceres Negros.
2019 AFC Cup Southeast Asian zonal semi-finals match of Ha Noi FC vs. Ceres Negros was a 1-1 draw game in which Vietnam’s capital side had a convincing game against Ceres Negros to bring back an advantage for the second leg to be held on June 25 at Hang Day stadium.
Ha Noi FC, however, has not indulged fully in celebration and happiness as the team is facing a tough situation of losing a key striker Oseni Bolaji for the rest of the season.
Ha Noi FC’s health department diagnosed Oseni with a serious injury which needs at least 3 months to be recovered. That means the 2019 season is over for the Ha Noi FC’s main shooter.
Oseni is considered the no.1 striker of the capital side at this time. The 1990-born striker has registered 16 goals through 22 matches with 9 goals at 2019 AFC Cup. His health issue seems to have a great impact on Ha Noi FC’s ambition this season.
The 2nd leg of 2019 AFC Cup between Ha Noi FC vs. Ceres Negros is set to be held at 7 p.m. June 25. Chu Dinh Nghiem’s side is holding a big edge over which will secure the team a slot in the finals of 2019 AFC Cup if Ha Noi can hold on a goalless draw or a narrow 1-0 win.
