A J-League side club is rumored to buy a Vietnamese player for the J-League season 2020.

Recently, J-League’s Consadole Sapporo announced its recuitment for Vietnamese-Japanese interpreter whose tasks are following and supporting a professional Vietnamese footballer.

This has raised rumors that the Japanese team will announce a contract with a Vietnamese player in the near future. Accordingly, either goalkeeper Dang Van Lam or midfielder Martin Lo is likely to join Consadole Sapporo.

Currently, Martin Lo is on trial at a Japanese 2nd team, so his arrival at Consadole Sapporo next season is very unlikely.

Meanwhile, Dang Van Lam is completely capable of landing in Japan in the 2020 season. Previously there was much information that the J-League teams are very interested in the Vietnamese goalkeeper and willing to break his contract with Muang Thong United.

For Van Lam, the first season in Thailand is considered successful. He played all 30 matches of Muang Thong in Thai League. This is a record not many players can do in the first season abroad. The consistent style of Van Lam has contributed a lot to the 5th place of Muang Thong United last season.

If this deal happens, this will be a big step in Dang Van Lam's career. Previously, the Japanese team wants to recruit midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai of Hanoi FC. However, Hai   has refused because he wants to continue to stick with the Hanoi FC next season. Currently Chanathip Songkrasin is in the squad of Consadole Sapporo.
