Doan Van Hau will not join Heerenveen in its match against Ajax Amsterdam in round 6 of Eredivisie due to a visa delay.
Van Hau came back to Vietnam after Vietnam’s draw with Thailand to complete with visa procedures. He has received a confirmation letter from the Dutch Immigration Department acknowledging the employment contract between Heerenveen and Doan Van Hau.
A labor visa will now be issued by the Netherlands Embassy in Malaysia, and Van Hau will finalize his procedures on Tuesday at the Netherlands Embassy in Hanoi. It takes 3-5 days to get a visa.
Van Hau will not be able to join Heerenveen against Ajax Amsterdam on Sept 14. This is regrettable as he will miss a chance to play against top players like Dusan Tadic and Hakim Ziyech.
Van Hau’s loan contract from Hanoi FC will be valid for one year with a gross salary of 450,000 euro. Van Hau will be allowed to come back to Vietnam to play for Vietnam at SEA Games 30.
