In a physical test held by PVF on June 24 morning in preparation for V-League 2019 leg 2, FIFA referee Nguyen Hien Triet was unconscious during his test.
Accordingly, on Hang Day stadium, V-League Arbitration Board held a physical test for its referees to examine their strength and health condition ahead of the leg 2 of V-League.
All has to sit for 2 tests: run with speed 40mx6 times as prescribed, speed endurance run, test 40 times 75m break, walk 25m. The referee assistants attend the tests including: Coda Test, run 5 times 30m plus referee’s tests.
The weather is quite nice after a heavy rain, however during their exam, FIFA referee Nguyen Hien Triet fainted when running.
Referee Nguyen Hien Triet fainted when he performed his fitness test in preparation for the second leg of V.League 2019.
Shortly afterwards, Mr. Triet got first aid and was taken to the Saint Paul hospital, about 1 km away from the field, the diagnosis showed that the man was short of water and oxygen. Curently Mr. Triet regained consciousness and could talk normally.
At the end of the test, in addition to referee Nguyen Hien Triet also had three other names: Hoang Pham Cong Khanh, Le Khac Thanh and Nguyen Van Dien did not meet all the conditions and will not be assigned to the task at V-League the second leg this year.
In the next 2 days, referees and assistants will continue to participate in classes, analyzing the shortcomings as well as learning and cultivating expertise until June 26 in Hanoi.
At V.League 2019 leg 2, particularly in early August, referees are likely to be supported by a powerful technology called VAR, which helps limit unreasonable mistakes.
