U19 Vietnam coach Philippe Troussier said he is pleased with the victory over Mongolia and has no pressure on the upcoming match against Guam.
In the opening match of the 2020 AFC U19 championship qualifiers on Wednesday, U19 Vietnam defeated Mongolia and earned three points. In the post-match press briefing, coach Troussier said:
"I am satisfied with three points. U19 Vietnam was not under great pressure. We possessed the ball at around 80% and created many opportunities. If we had fired better, we would have scored more. However, I am still good with it," said Troussier.
When asked about his rival in the second match, Troussirer stated he needs three points no matter many goals to be scored.
"U19 Guam lacks the wisdom against Japan. They exposed many weaknesses. The most important thing is that we must win. 1-0 or 10-0 is good, as long as we have three points. We do not despise any rivals. " U19 Vietnam coach said.
