Thai coach Akira Nishino has summoned a young talent based in Europe to play in the SEA Games later this year and the AFC U23 Championship 2020.
The 28-man roster now includes England’s Fulham midfielder Ben Davis, 19, who has three citizenships: English, Thai and Singaporean.
Davis moved to Fulham in 2017, starting out with the U18 team. He capped 10 times and scored one goal, with a passing accuracy of 90%. His excellent performance earned him an official contract with Fulham.
Davis is the youngest player in the squad, and the only one based outside Thailand.
