Defender Vu Van Thanh will not play in the round 19 as he has been booked three yeallow cards since the beginning of the season.
In the away match to Thien Truong stadium this weekend, HAGL will not have Vu Van Thanh’s serve as Van Thanh has already received 3 yeallow cards and would be suspended a match.
The absence of the 23-year-old will be a huge loss for HAGL since the club is flying high in the latest three matches, notably the 3-2 win over Thanh Hoa FC in the previous round, with Van Thanh did his good job in the place between the defense and the midfield.
This position helped Van Thanh fit well in the defense as well as assist the attack and clean up the middle line, thereby supporting Tuan Anh and Xuan Truong to attack. Since returning from injury, Van Thanh's performance is quite unstable yet with the trust of coach Lee Tae Hoon, he gradually regained the confidence and the feeling of the ball.
This trip to Thien Truong pitch is expected to be extremely difficult for HAGL. At home, the coach Nguyen Van Dung retained excellent performance with 7 victories and lost only 1 match. In the last 5 rounds, Nam Dinh also won 3 matches with nearly 2 goals per game.
That sharp attack will potentially threaten Sietsma's goal. So coach Lee Tae Hoon needs an alternative to Van Thanh's absence in this round.
