Ceres Negros coach, Risto Vidakovic seems optimistic on the chance of the team to enter the next round.
Before entering the AFC Cup 2019 semi-finals leg 2, Ceres Negros faces more difficulty since they draw 1-1 to Hanoi FC in the first leg.
In a recent share with the media before the great clash, Risto Vidakovic seems confident. The 50-year-old said they are strong enough to defeat V-League side Hanoi FC in Hang Day stadium.
"We got the draw in leg 1 so we have to start again, determined to win. I think Hanoi owns good players, each has their own skills. They performed their bests but Ceres Negros is not bad”.
This is an important match, both teams own X factor. Both sides have chance so we will try our best to win”.
In the clash last week, Ceres Negros took the lead with a goal from Maranon yet they could not keep it until the end of the match since Hanoi’s Pape Omar scored a goal.
According to Vidakovic, Hanoi Fc is a strong team which own many national players, however, Bonisian coach said Ceres Negros shares the samequality squad, thereby, the 50-year-old doesn’t worry about the strength of two teams.
“Hanoi FC is the strongest opponent I have ever met. However, we defeted them 2 years ago. Ceres own national players in the squad so I believe my team will win and perform their best forms”.
The AFC Cup 2019 semi-finals will kick off on June 26, 7:00 pm in Hang Day stadium.
